BEK, Bergen Centre for Electronic Arts, engages in artistic and scientific research and development. We are a non-profit organisation facilitating for professional artists and the production of their works. BEK offers mentoring and support on the artistic, technical and production aspects of producing new works, research and develop technical solutions responding to the needs of professional artists, and offers an educational program consisting of courses, workshops, talks and presentations. Activities at BEK tend to be cross-disciplinary, between fine arts, sound art, music and the performing arts, as well as between art, research and technology. BEK is organised as a non-profit foundation, and is part of PNEK Production Network for Electronic Art, Norway.
